It doesn’t matter if you already have Cash App or you have heard it for the first time, (if this is true, shame on you! We have sent you already one mail about it. Go and check it!) this post is what you need to know to be up-to-date with Cash App.

What’s new?
Now, customers can easily track Loyalty points and rewards with their business when they use Cash by Square, which will help keep them always aware of your business and excited to come back.

Cash App is the # 1 free finance app on the Apple App Store. Created by Square, Inc, Cash App is used by more than 30 million people to send, spend and invest money safely. We are delighted that this collaboration between Square Loyalty and Cash App has resulted in millions of Square customers being able to easily see how many Loyalty rewards they earned on their favorite businesses, including yours.

If you have missed our first mail about the Cash App, here is a reminder. You can also check that mail!

How does it work?
If you already use Square Loyalty, once a customer completes a transaction at your business, they will receive a text message welcome notification asking them to view the Loyalty status update in the Cash App. If the customer does not have the Cash App at At the time of the transaction, the notification will ask you to download the application.

Once your customer uses the Cash App, they will be able to see their loyalty points and the rewards available in their business from the Activity tab in the app.

How do I start?
To take advantage of this new collaboration with Cash App, you will need to use Square Loyalty, a digital rewards program for your customers. If you want to try Square Loyalty for the first time, start with a free 30-day trial.

If you already have a Square Loyalty subscription, your account already enjoys this partnership with Cash App. If you prefer to continue sending transactional text messages that direct your customers to your online shopper status web page, visit the Loyalty Settings page in the Data Panel and deactivate “Enable integration with Cash App”.

Let us know how it goes
