Amazon has launched three new models of Amazon Fire HD 8 tablets, a normal version, another Plus and a last called Kids Edition designed for the smallest of the house. Amazon’s Fire HD 8 is the basic version, a tablet that maintains the same design lines as the current version so far (the 2018 model). The Fire HD 8 Plus is the most advanced model of the three, although together with the version for children, it will not reach the Spanish market. This tablet arrives with an aesthetic identical to the previous one and the changes that give meaning to that Plus are inside.
With the same 8-inch screen and 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, 2 GHz processor and 32 or 64 GB storage, the improvement is in the RAM memory that rises to 3 GB and the addition of wireless charging compatible with the Qi standard. In this way, if you have a charger of this type at home you can replace its battery without having to connect and disconnect cables.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition
Regarding the Kids Edition , this tablet is exactly the same as the Fire HD 8. The difference is in the case it includes. This protective shell made in striking colors (blue, purple and pink) is designed to withstand daily use by the little ones, avoiding possible breakage in the event of accidental bumps or falls. In addition, due to its own dimensions, it also facilitates its grip in your hands and its use through a support that allows it to be tilted or used in different positions.
